    How do I Reset a BioSig-ID™ Password?


    From time-to-time, you may need to reset your BioSig-ID password.  After failing to validate three times, you will be prompted to authorize via a token received through email.  Below, we have documented the steps in the password reset process. 

    1.)  Fail to validate your identity three times. 


    2.)  You will then be notified that an email has been sent to your email.  Click OK to acknowledge these instructions.  IMPORTANT:  Do not close or refresh the BioSig-ID page.  Check your email to find the most recent email from



    Not your email address? 

    If the email shown in this box is not yours, please submit a support ticket and provide us with the email address shown.  Also be sure to provide the NMLS-ID# showing at the top of the BioSig-ID page and your personal NMLS-ID number.   This usually happens when either you are enrolled with the wrong NMLS-ID number or someone else has inadvertently enrolled using your NMLS-ID number. 

    I haven't received the code, now what?

    If the email address is correct and you still have not received a code.  Trying refreshing your email Inbox.  If the email is not appearing, you may want to check your junk or spam folders. Also if you are using a company email address, your company may have a spam filter in place that is preventing delivery of emails from  If you are able, please permit, release, or allow delivery of these emails.  Alternatively, you may want to update your email with your course provider to a personal email account such as a Gmail or other email provider. 

    3.) Within this email, you will receive an authorization code. 


    4.)  Return to the BioSig-ID page (the one we told you not to close or refresh) and enter the code from the email. 

    What if I accidentally closed or refreshed the BioSig-ID page?

    If you accidentally closed or refreshed the BioSig-ID page, a new code will be generated and the one you previously requested will no longer be valid. You will need to go find the most recent email from and enter the new code on the BioSig-ID page.
